Great co-workers and very good technical stuff to work on.
I have no pros for the Netlogic group inside Broadcom.
Broadcom, as such, is a leader in the switch market. But their poor acquisitions cost them dearly. Either Renesas (Mobile division) or Netlogic (embedded network processors) both proved to be disastrous.
No clear direction in these groups. No process followed. No timeline management. Some junk management at the top who do nothing other than saving their jobs.
I believe top management has already been looking into it and cleaned up the Mobile group, and the cleaning up of Netlogic is under process.
But the pity thing here is affected will be tech engineers who work like dogs and try themselves to align with groups' worst processes. All top management will be still either there or moved to some other group and still doing wrong things.
Other part is they lack innovation. They have a stable switch market, but how long will it survive if you have a lack of innovation?
I beg the top management to try something new by starting a new team instead of doing some junk acquisitions which cost them so dearly.
Last but not least, HR people don't react even if you give multiple complaints about your manager's behavior or give some counseling for a manager when people complain constantly about him.
Please don't do any mindless acquisitions. If you want to try something new, do proper research before going ahead.
Also, please clean up the junk.
I applied online and received a call from the hiring manager to schedule a telephonic discussion. I have been through the Broadcom process two to three times unsuccessfully. My experience is that Broadcom focuses mostly on C programming, irrespective
First interview was with two managers and one engineer. The interview lasted for one hour. They asked me to elaborate on all my experiences and projects. They presented on-the-job scenario questions and gauged my answers. It was not technically deep
I applied for a job through the company website. I had a phone interview, then was invited to an on-site interview. They were very polite, but the process was formal and serious. The interviewers were extremely smart from a technical standpoint an
