Overall, a good company to work with
I worked in the Bangalore office for more than 5 years.
Many teams have a talent pool for end-to-end chip development (Chip, SoC, firmware, software, except RF), so you will get good exposure.
For the size of the company, politics is definitely less.
It initially used to pay very well, then came down and improved later after the Avago acquisition.
Choose the correct team, as quite a few teams are difficult places to work (no work-life balance, lots of internal bickering).
Information sharing is very poor and difficult to gather info.
Career growth will be slow for most, except a few well-connected individuals.
Hire and fire is very common, so be mindful right from the day of joining.
Connect and share more often with employees.
