Pros

The team of engineers has many years of experience, which helped me learn a lot. The benefits are good: RSUs, a good salary and bonus, 401k, healthcare, gym, and a subsidized cafeteria.

Cons

Bad management decisions, lack of transparency and compassion.

Bad management decisions make engineering teams feel frustrated or demotivated. Lack of transparency and compassion means we don't feel that management really cares about employees.

There is no flexibility to work from home, even now with the pandemic.

All employees are forced into inflexible shifts, even those who can completely do their work remotely, like FW, sales, and marketing teams.

This includes those who have young school-age children with schools being shut down.

Advice to Management

To care more about the employees, and not only revenue and profit. After all, when employees feel more secure, cared for, and happy, they will be more loyal, work harder, and give more.
