Project planning and tracking is excellent.
- Work can get very monotonous, since the same design/IP can go into multiple chips.
- The architecture team is not in India, so many times getting a bigger picture is difficult.
- The work-from-home option is sometimes not appreciated; it's very manager-dependent.
- HR is almost absent; hiring is the only HR functionality.
- RSUs are no longer attractive as they were a few years back.
Engineers need a growth plan. Interaction with the architecture team must be increased. Motivation levels can be definitely boosted.
