Pros

Cutting-edge technology and chips are in many of the hottest products out on the market. Most people are friendly and care about what they do.

Cons

Hard to advance, and management is unforgiving. There's always too much work to do, and seemingly always short on resources.

Also, the vacation policy is horrible. Salaried workers get "unlimited vacations," but the caveat is your manager must approve of the time off. Great if you have a cool manager. Sucks if your manager is a workaholic and disapproves vacation requests most times.

Advice to Management

Hire enough workers to support the workload.

Relying on interns isn't a smart path, since time is wasted on retraining every few months or yearly.
