I interviewed two years ago with VMware for a SWE role. The interviews were well-defined and clear, testing knowledge of system design, data structures, algorithms, and web development topics. There were four rounds and one initial recruiter screen

Good interview. Everything was very well guided and well established by the interviewer. There were 3 interviews in total between various developers and managers. At the end of the interview, they give you good feedback.

I called my old friend at a company in Texas. He introduced me to a group, and the manager called me. Everything was straightforward.
