Process

I went through 2 rounds of coding interviews, but I didn't make it through the first round because I didn't finish coding.

The first 5 minutes were for introducing myself and talking a little bit about my resume.

Then, for 50 minutes, I was coding a LeetCode medium question.

The last 5 minutes were for asking questions.

The interviewer was nice and kindly answered my questions. He also provided feedback on how I can improve.

Pros: I don't know how the other teams are, but my team seems good in my one-year experience so far. The team leader is located in China, but the team culture has no difference from most Silicon Valley tech companies. Mentors are supportive, so it's good for entry-level engineers to grow.

Cons: Sometimes I need to sync with colleagues in China, and the time zone difference is tough. The workload has continuously increased since joining the company, and I expect it to continue to expand. Stopping growing generally means a lower performance rating.
