The coding interview, conducted on an internal Chinese system, felt feature-poor compared to platforms like HackerRank or CodeSignal. The interviewer's English was incredibly poor, making them almost impossible to understand. I'm not sure how they hire if candidates can't communicate their thoughts effectively. Do they mostly speak Chinese internally?
