Virtual interview. Technical question with a lot of abstractions. Very vague question; know the basics. Part design, part implementation. Can be done in Chinese or English. Interviewed from a different time zone.

The interview was well coordinated. HR was fast and efficient. Even though my schedule was a little bit packed during the interview process, HR accommodated and tried her best to arrange a mutually open timeslot.

The interviewer was from China. There was a huge language barrier, and I couldn’t understand any of the questions. I work with developers with accents all the time and never run into this issue.
