Process

I applied for the position of Software Developer at C3 IoT. After one day of applying, I received an email from a recruiter stating that I was a fit for Solutions Engineer and not for Software Developer.

The recruiter wanted to conduct a phone interview for the Solutions Engineer position and asked for my schedule.

I immediately replied with my availability. After a couple of hours, I received an email stating that I had been rejected and my application would not be moved further.

How unprofessional of them to first ask for a phone interview and then send a rejection.

Pros: They have excellent benefits and a good training plan. They also have a coexistence plan, which, although it is governed by the laws of the state of California, has been acclimatized to the culture of the region in Guadalajara. It offers opportunities to keep up to date by taking courses or studying a master's.

Cons: Even though they are flexible with the schedule, you have to be prepared to adapt your time in order to meet with people on your team/organization that are in other time zones.

They also have a coexistence plan, which, although it is governed by the laws of the state of California, has been acclimatized to the culture of the region in Guadalajara. It offers opportunities to keep up to date by taking courses or studying a master's.

Cons: Even though they are flexible with the schedule, you have to be prepared to adapt your time in order to meet with people on your team/organization that are in other time zones.
