Great co-workers: generally kind, thoughtful people who are also very sharp.
Challenging projects that make you think and problem-solve as a group. No single team member can generally find the best solution for the entire project on their own; it takes collaboration with data scientists, PMs, SMEs, solution/delivery managers, other engineers, etc.
Engaged coworkers: people are not "checked out" at C3 AI. Everyone wants to help if they can. This is probably C3 AI's cultural "super power".
In-office culture leads to friendships and relationships with your co-workers that is hard in remote-first jobs.
Teams are generally collaborative across the company.
100% in-office can be tough if some flexibility is needed 1-2 days/month. Employees need to set their own boundaries; this won't often be done for you. Diversity amongst the leadership team is improving, but not where it could be.
Technical interviews ask coding and algorithmic problems. There is also a soft skills section with STAR-like questions. Results come back fast, which I think was nice. Usually, there are three rounds of interviews.
Unkind attitude from the interviewer. Late connection to the interview. Lack of communication with the recruitment team. Lack of interest from the interviewer during the discussion about work experience and knowledge. Lack of professionalism.
Got the OA. It was a very straightforward DFS solution, but towards the end, it had a certain factor that was confusing. They showed some C++ code, even though my preferred language was Python, which sort of threw me off.
