Egoistic management who thinks they are gods, but in reality know nothing about the product, leading to overpromising and underdelivery.
C3 is the only company working from the office right now, and the CEO does not care that he is jeopardizing the lives of so many people working in close proximity with COVID still raging, as long as he makes money and keeps on dumping stocks.
Salary structure is poor, and you are likely to be stuck at the same base salary until you get a promotion and a meager hike. Then your base is going to increase at 2% after a promotion, and when you bring it up, the whiny buggers will say, "But we gave you stocks!"
You have to be a yes-man in order to survive. Don't like how some people run the company? You will be asked to clear your desk. The management is so fragile that they are terrified of feedback from a new grad unless you bend over. Sometimes it felt like working in a cult instead of a software company.
The CEO himself said that C3 is a services company and not a software company. So if you are thinking you are coming to a products-based company, don't bother.
Their interview questions are way overhyped to give a sense that you are going to be doing awesome work, when in reality all you will be doing is writing metadata. Just brush up on your LeetCode and interview with tons of other companies out there. You will get your true salary's worth and a better package than C3.
There is a reason not many experienced engineers join this company.
TS himself once compared the death rates of COVID with car accidents and provided logic where he said that just like you do not stop driving a car during accidents, you should come to the office during COVID. If you want to work in a company run by this man and his cohorts, please feel free to do so.
No words. They're not gonna change.
Waiting for the yes man to refute these comments.
Technical interviews ask coding and algorithmic problems. There is also a soft skills section with STAR-like questions. Results come back fast, which I think was nice. Usually, there are three rounds of interviews.
Initial 30-minute behavioral screen by hiring manager. 1 technical screen. 3 rounds, including DSA and system design. 1 technical screen and 3 virtual on-sites for the full-time role.
Three rounds of interviews in total. The final round of interview questions is below. I hope I didn't copy and paste this out and fail my interview. The interviewer was nice and helpful. They also asked logical programming questions, such as bit m
