Pros

Company-wide remote working.

Software engineers are highly skilled when allowed to be.

Decent bonus structure.

Cons

Leadership seems incredibly lost and unable to provide the direction the company needs. This starts slightly above the people manager level and goes all the way up to the C-Suite.

Individual contributors are given direct orders rather than opportunities for collaboration.

Many products die on the floor and never see the light of day due to constantly changing direction and requirements.

Lack of upward mobility despite a high level of churn among Senior and Staff level ICs.

C-Suite seems to be disappearing one-by-one, consolidating power into the hands of very few people.

Advice to Management

Listen to your people! This is a great product with a highly valuable feature if you can get out of your own way. Otherwise, I fear this company is destined to slowly fade out while competitors take market share.
