Canva's interview is divided into a few stages. The first interview is where they get to know you, and you get to know them. After that, they assign you a task or problem – a simple app to build for them as a demonstration of your skills. Following the app review, there is one more short interview to discuss your approach. If they like it, there is a final stage. The final stage is a 3-hour online team coding session (in my case). You spend 2x 90 minutes with two two-person teams, making changes to your app and further showing your skills. After that, they decide if you are the person they want on board.
You get a task or problem to solve by writing an app.
