I applied on the Canva Careers website. The recruiter got in touch via email.
- First step: A virtual screening on Zoom with the recruiter.
- Second step: This included two rounds. The first was a System Design Interview, which was nothing like the links provided by the recruiter. The second was a Code Interview in JavaScript.
Questions
System Design Interview: I was asked how I would design the frontend of a Canva-like app. There were leading questions about how to make the page load times faster, etc.
Code Interview (Javascript): I was told to code a simple game-like app using given images and a simple div. Other related questions were asked about why I chose a specific way to do it.
