Javascript Engineer Interview Experience - Sydney, Australia
Process
I applied online and completed an online coding challenge. This was followed by a non-technical interview with a recruiter, where we discussed the company, my prior experiences, future plans, and so on.
Next, I received a take-home challenge. Although there was no strict time limit, it was generally expected to be completed within 5-8 hours. I submitted my completed challenge, but I never received a response.
One week after submitting the take-home challenge, I inquired about the results. The recruiter stated she would get back to me in a couple of days, but again, I never heard back.
Do not be deceived by the company's rapid growth or its online advertisements and videos; it is simply a waste of time. Canva does not value a candidate's time or work. This was the most unprofessional interview experience I have ever had.
