The interview was AI-assisted. The problem statement was very broad, requiring me to think out loud and ask as many questions as possible. My interviewer was keenly interested in the questions I asked and their quality. According to feedback given to me later, I was not prompting the AI to fix issues; instead, I was fixing them myself in the code, which slowed me down and, I believe, led to my rejection. The problem itself was not too difficult to figure out, but they assess how you use AI to solve it for you.
