Pros: Great place to work at, depending on which team you're in.

Cons: Culture is deteriorating in some teams due to massive hiring of upper management that bring in their corporate, KPI-first culture. Not a lot of career growth outlook. It seems it is easy to replace people with external hires than to focus on developing them.

Pros: Great salary and benefits, and flexibilities.

Cons: The whole experience highly relies on the teams you are in.

Pros: It can be a great place for a software engineer who likes innovating. I really admire the Head of Engineering's mindset (Brendan Humphrey) and how they are driving AI adoption. Also, there are lots of benefits, events, and food in the office.

Cons: Toxic leadership. Not all of them, of course. Some are indeed great. However, I've heard just too many stories in a short time, and it seems quite alarming, quite above the market average. My advice is: if you feel something is wrong and your leader is not telling you, watch out! Some characteristics to pay attention to in your leader: * dismissive * incompetent * does not assign you much work * doesn't take accountability * blames others If you see any or a few of those traits in your leader, my suggestion is to try to find another team, either within the company or outside, as a matter of urgency.
