Clear and transparent expectation setting from management. Local Australian reporting chain and culture. Actively encourages growth and education opportunities. Strong emphasis on delivering results rather than playing corporate games. The standard Silicon Valley perks without the Valley BS.
- Not a con, but although expectations are clear, they are also high. You can’t thrive by cruising.
- Prioritization and planning can be thrown out the window sometimes.
Ensure product investment doesn’t overindex on one particular trend. Focus on becoming a platform for design across all audiences. That democratisation is what makes people love the app, and what will unlock additional TAM.
