It can be a great place for a software engineer who likes innovating. I really admire the Head of Engineering's mindset (Brendan Humphrey) and how they are driving AI adoption.

Also, there are lots of benefits, events, and food in the office.

Toxic leadership. Not all of them, of course. Some are indeed great.

However, I've heard just too many stories in a short time, and it seems quite alarming, quite above the market average.

My advice is: if you feel something is wrong and your leader is not telling you, watch out!

Some characteristics to pay attention to in your leader:

• dismissive
• incompetent
• does not assign you much work
• doesn't take accountability
• blames others

If you see any or a few of those traits in your leader, my suggestion is to try to find another team, either within the company or outside, as a matter of urgency.

The reputation of toxic leadership seems to be an old one. That is sad.

It feels like your two pillars are just marketing. Oh well, it seems to be working for you. I give you credit for that.
