The recruiter reached out to me through LinkedIn and asked for all my basic details, including my current and expected CTC.
After that, my interview was scheduled on a weekend. Following two rounds of interviews, I was informed via SMS (not even a phone call) that they could not match my current CTC and their budget was 15% less.
What irks me is why the interviews were scheduled in the first place.
