I was interviewed in April 2016 at Capgemini's Bangalore office. I had 2.5 years of experience in Java.

The first round was an online test with questions related to Java, SOAP & REST, and Spring. Some questions focused on the output of sample programs.

The second round was a technical interview where I was asked about my current technology and project. They assessed my fundamental knowledge.

The third round was with the Engagement Manager of the project, who presented a problem for me to solve programmatically.

The fourth round was the HR interview. The HR inquired about my family background and future family plans.

They offered me only a 12% increase on my current CTC, stating that Java is not a niche skill and they could not offer more. When I mentioned that a 20-30% hike would be necessary for me to switch companies, the HR questioned my request.

Furthermore, my salary expectation was outside their designated band, making an increase unlikely.

This entire process took one full day, and in the end, the offer was significantly less than expected. It is advisable to clarify salary expectations beforehand to ensure they can offer at least a certain hike on your current CTC before attending the interview.
