Process

I had an online interview on 01/07/22. I prepared the camera and all other required equipment beforehand.

The interviewer did not bother to open her camera, or at least share some excuse for that, and also sounded like she was in a rush. There were a lot of noises and sounds in the background.

This was a totally unprofessional approach and showed no respect for the person who was waiting for that moment. I felt like she did not even pay attention to my answers, and probably had more important things to do. This made me feel uncomfortable and demotivated from the very beginning of the interview. I kept asking myself, "What will the managers be like if an interviewer treats a candidate so unprofessionally, with no respect?"

I just wanted the interview to be cut short and did not even want to answer the questions properly.

Honestly, I expected to see professional people with a positive approach during the interview.

Perhaps I overestimated the company, or that's the way they were treated/interviewed during their hiring process, or it might be the general culture of the company.

I guess they interview and eliminate a couple of candidates to show the government as proof to get a visa for their preselected candidate(s).
