Process

Being such a reputed organization, it was a big shock that they would hire such an unprofessional (Selenium) drive coordinator. I had heard from my colleagues before about Capgemini walk-in drives that went pretty smoothly for them. But on November 23rd, people entered at 9:30 AM and waited just at the gate until 1 PM for a gate pass. The contact person had randomly emailed people and never kept a list to provide to gate security.

This caused a huge delay and mismanagement in the further process, and I had my interview after 6:30 PM. It would be wrong to call it an interview, as it was just a room with 15-20 people left for their interviews after 6 PM, who were made to write a few Java codes and then sent off. This round was straight ahead marked as interview round 4.

Some candidates randomly had aptitude tests (which in the end had no significance), and others were just left waiting around.

The interviewers were now so frustrated that they conducted these interviews just for the namesake. Staff kept coming in during the interviews, and there was no system or order left for almost all the candidates for Selenium.

Worst experience.
