I was called for an interview, which was stated to be a face-to-face interview at the Capgemini office in Gurgaon, located in Sector 48, almost at the end of the NCR. I traveled all the way from Noida (over 50 km) to attend, only to learn it would be a telephonic interview, and no panel had come to conduct interviews. Only one person was present for about an hour, and they were making phone calls to personal mobile numbers of the panel. I observed all other candidates finishing their interviews in 5-7 minutes, with hardly 4-5 questions asked. None of the candidates seemed satisfied after the interview, which felt like an eyewash or a mere formality. The HR SPOC (Single Point of Contact) person was polite and helpful, but the interviewer was terribly rude and unprofessional. They seemed uninterested in conducting the interview, as if the exercise had been forced upon them. The interviewer asked irrelevant questions not related to the role for which we were called. Overall, it was a poor experience. In comparison to an interview with Accenture I had two weeks prior, where I received a confirmed offer, this was an absolutely unprofessional interview process. Even the HR who called and set up the date and time were equally poor in communication (except for the person present at the office, all others were unhelpful).
