I applied for a PHP developer position at Capgemini. Approximately one month later, in September 2024, I received a call from HR regarding the L1 first round of the interview. The interview went quite well, and the questions were reasonable.

After two to three days, I received another call from HR about scheduling the second round of the interview, L2. An interview invitation was sent via email.

I prepared for the interview for about two days. Thirty minutes before the scheduled time, I received a call from the same HR representative stating that the panel was unavailable and that the interview would be rescheduled. However, I did not receive any updated invitation link.

After four to five days, I emailed HR for an update, but received no response. I then tried calling HR, but my calls were not received. Subsequently, I called the HR person who had contacted me for the L1 round. She stated, "We have already told you that we cannot move forward with your application as you have a 90-day notice period." I replied that I had not received any such communication.

She then suggested I call or follow up with the person who sent the second invitation, but they are not receiving my calls.

This was a very bad interview experience. Additionally, after the first round of the interview, the interviewer called me on my personal number. They asked technical questions and some general questions about my commute and instructed me to save their number on my phone.

This was a very bad experience, and the same thing happened to me in 2022 for an AEM developer interview. They conducted only the first round, then asked for documents, and after that, there was no response.
