Step 1: Shortlisting of applicants was based on CGPA and internships.

Step 2: A group discussion (GD) was conducted, where around 10 people were placed on a panel. The discussion focused on a general topic: population explosion and its disadvantages.

Step 3: Shortlisted candidates from the above step attended a final interview. This comprised of both technical and HR-based competency testing. Some highlights of this interview included:

• Basics of computing languages C and C++
• Graduation project work, relating it to real-life applications
• Hobbies: what, why, and how they help
• Puzzles to test aptitude and thinking

• Tell me something about yourself.
• Why IT?
• Why Capgemini?
• Where do you see yourself 5-10 years from now?
