Pros: Good work-life balance. Learning opportunities through internal trainings. TGIM events.

Cons: Salaries are pathetic. Appraisals don't make sense (worst part about the company). Managers have no idea what their resources are doing. Traveling to onshore is just a dream, even if you work for 5 years in the company on a single project under the same manager. Micromanagement. This is my personal experience: When I had an opportunity to travel onsite due to client demand, my management told me I was not eligible for an ICT visa, as Capgemini can process visas only for people at the Associate Consultant level or above. I struggled, had meetings, and after a lot of discussions, they confirmed it was not going to happen. So, I had to resign from the company. I have near to 5 years of experience and got only 2 promotions in almost 5 appraisals that happened. People are promoted here randomly. Even though you are doing your work with all your heart and dedication, and even stretching it out to meet deadlines, I was awarded only one standard promotion. I got the second promotion only because they wanted to retain me, as I was the only one working on a large budget project for almost 3 years. Promises they give are baseless and untrustworthy.

Pros: Good work environment with nice cultural values.

Cons: Less hike, and worst management.

Pros: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Definitely nothing. Of course, nothing. Surely nothing.

Cons: 1. 9.5 hours. 2. 3 months notice period. 3. Unfriendly atmosphere to work. 4. HRs are not reachable. 5. Hike is one area where we won't know the difference after appraisal. 6. After the merger of IGATE and Capgemini, IGATE folks got to see how hell would be.
