The interview was conducted off-campus. Everything seemed well and good, and I was selected.

After receiving my offer letter, I acknowledged it. Then, suddenly, there was no communication. My friends who were selected alongside me received regular updates and various emails, but I received nothing.

Fast forward two months. I was preparing to apply for a Master's degree when I received a call from Capgemini Chennai (verified number). They informed me about a vacancy in their Chennai branch and asked if I could join the following month (from the date of the call). I agreed to join, despite having already paid my college fees.

The caller stated I should expect an email within 15 minutes. Predictably, the communication ceased again. Capgemini ghosted me once more.

A regular fresher question: does everybody know they emphasize the backend more?
