The hiring process was quite simple. Capgemini visited our college for campus recruitment. The process consisted of three rounds, with only one being an elimination round.
There were 16 quantitative aptitude questions and 16 logical reasoning questions within 50 minutes. Following that, you had to write an essay of 300-400 words within 30 minutes.
HR Interview In my case, the HR interview was conducted before the technical interview. All selected students had to complete both the technical and HR interviews. It consisted of basic HR questions, and you need to have a good command of English. Simply use clear and concise sentences. Take your time and answer properly.
Technical Interview The technical interview was conducted next. As I am from a non-IT background (ECE), the interviewer asked simple questions only from my syllabus. However, be aware that they might ask questions from subjects in your previous semesters (basic ones, like Laplace transforms).
You might be asked to explain the reasons for poor marks or a sudden drop in marks in any subjects (yes, they will have your results). Prepare for these questions. Just be confident and answer.
Finally, I was selected, and I thank Capgemini for offering me my first job.
Your long-term goal.
Your motto in life.
How are you different from others?
