I had a direct technical interview round. Questions were asked more from the QA side, regarding Automation Selenium using Java and Cucumber. They asked me about the test reporting process. Below are the questions:
- What is the difference between Implicit and Explicit wait, with an example?
- What is the difference between ‘/’ and ‘//’ in Selenium?
- What is Inheritance, with an example?
- Defect life cycle?
- What is a Cucumber framework? Explain when, this, etc.
- What is a BDD framework?
- Explain the Selenium TestNG framework.
- What do you do after getting requirements from a client? Explain the process.
- Explain about GitHub version control. How does a commit work?
- On using 1000 cases, how to improve performance?
- Jenkins
- Test data sources?
- SQL Database testing?
- How to switch to a windows pop-up using Selenium?
