Technical Manager • Former Employee
Pros: Name it self a big brand.
Cons: Purely dependent on client projects.
I have 12+ years of experience and worked as a hard-core developer in my previous organizations (all were MNCs) and also worked onsite.
Joined Capgemini recently and was fired after 4 months, with no project calls, no interaction... nothing.
The RMG team in Bangalore has formed a gang; they will torture you beyond belief. The boss sits somewhere behind and pushes some associate from their team to deal with the employee, whether a new hire or an old employee. They will never arrange a call, at least one or two you deserve. After 2-3 months, they will ask you to search and find a project yourself, giving you a 20-day timeline. If you don't find one, they will terminate you ASAP. What a tragedy.
I have seen many new hires crying after joining Capgemini, and they threaten them and ask them to resign even after 2, 3, or 4 months in the organization, a similar situation to mine.
If you join Capgemini thinking it is a big organization, after 4 months you will be jobless with 10, 11, 13, 14... etc., whatever experience you have. What a tragedy.
I am requesting you again and again, if you have any responsibility and really want to see happy faces in your family or don't want to lose your dream job, then join somewhere else.
If you think you are skilled, then don't join this company and wait some time to choose another, but don't choose the wrong one like Capgemini.
