UI Developer Interview Experience - London, United Kingdom

June 1, 2018
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

I went in for an interview as a React JS developer. The interview was easy, with very basic questions on JavaScript and React Redux being asked. I cleared the first round. There was no panel for the second technical round; I was directly called for the HR round, where salary discussion took place. The HR stated that they do not have an interview panel for the second round and that they would conduct one more technical round before finalizing their decision.

One week later, I received an email for a telephonic interview, which did not happen. After another week, I received an email requesting almost all my documents, from my SSC to my current three months' salary slips. I provided these the next day.

At the same time, I received an offer from another company, but I was still waiting for Capgemini's reply. After waiting for a month, I inquired about the status of my candidacy and was told they would revert back soon. After two weeks, I did not get any reply, so I followed up again but received no response.

I would say do not waste your time going there; they will only give you hope but no offer. It is better to utilize your time attending other interviews.
