You can lack technical proficiency but still advance in your career based solely on the commercial/consultant aspect of the job – so it is not the ideal place for those who want to pursue a technical role.
If you're positioning yourself as an IT Consultancy Company, prioritize recognizing and rewarding those who perform the hands-on technical work with competitive salaries. Neglecting this aspect can lead to dissatisfaction within the team.
Keep in mind that clients are not oblivious to the actual deliverables, and over-promising without substance can result in unexpected contract terminations.
