My personal outcome is positive. From the beginning, I received coding tasks that were truly part of the team's overall work. I independently presented the results of my work to the client and was able to see and experience that I was doing meaningful and useful work. Additionally, I benefited from the e-learning training offers for employees.
Due to the exciting project work and the high degree of practical knowledge and skills acquired, and not least because of my great colleagues, I would recommend an internship at Capgemini to anyone, specifically with the Custom Solution Development team at the Berlin office.
However, my internship ended at the beginning of the Corona pandemic. Nevertheless, I managed to complete all my final documents on time and in the best possible way.
In my opinion, the onboarding process was not sufficiently documented, and the internal project documentation was partly outdated. Therefore, I would wish for a clearer structure and more details on the step-by-step implementation of the necessary measures for starting project work.
However, with colleagues who were always willing to help, this process was completed quickly and without any problems.
