You can really feel that they do their best so you can enjoy your work life in any project you participate.
In some projects in which I participated, I felt that none of my colleagues had the needed seniority for the positions they held. If you seek good code quality, if you understand the importance of best practices, if you want to be surrounded by actual experts or deeply passionate professionals, Capgemini is not the place. Managers only care for the client to be happy, no matter what, and this is achieved at the expense of the developers: poor code quality, thus an awful developer work-life quality. I participated in projects where everybody was seeking to leave, asking to be repositioned on another project or quitting the job.
If you don't come from a technical background, don't be a manager. You don't understand our job nor our needs.
If you don't understand the importance of code quality (which has a straight impact on the developer's life quality), don't assume the manager role.
The interview process was very good and simple. I only had one technical round, followed by an HR round to discuss salary expectations. It was good that there was no manager round in between. Additionally, the HR representative was very supportive
1st Technical round focuses on core skills. 2nd Technical + Manager round covers technical questions and managerial aspects. 3rd Client round depends on project requirements, often for direct project hiring. 4th HR round discusses salary and other
We took the interview on April 6th. After the second round, they told us our HR team would get back to us. However, it's been almost two weeks with no update on the results. When we try to reach HR, they are not responding either.
