Not necessarily the training you got for 3 months, you will get to work on it. Most of my friends were on the bench for 8 months. If they do not have projects, they make freshers supervise internal exams conducted by the company or do data entry jobs. Most of the projects are Support and Maintenance. The company follows a Bell Curve policy, so even if you performed well, you will get a low rating because they have to maintain the Bell Curve. No learning curve. You will still be considered/treated as a fresher after 2 years with the company.
