Not much growth, compensation, or promotion-wise. Skills-wise also, you will have to go learn something on your own, hope that the skill requirement comes and you are chosen. You will be doing the same thing for years. At least for internal projects, this is like this. And for client projects, there is work pressure and thorough quality check, as it is anywhere.
Some of the Indian management people need to chill. There is a night-and-day difference between how foreign and Indian people treat their teams. As long as the work is getting done properly, why go into unnecessary micromanaging?
