There are no pros of joining Capgemini.
If you are a fresher, I will never recommend joining Capgemini. They will give you exhaustive training for 4-6 months to get deployed in very average projects that could be handled by 12th pass outs. You will not have any say in the selection of technology; they will make you feel like a slave and will definitely try to humiliate you if you try to speak up for yourself, even in cases of injustice.
Management does not have any professionalism when it comes to handling any situation. You will never be praised for any good work or for maintaining professionalism. You will have to learn how to keep your manager happy, which involves not asking any questions about shifts or leaves.
This company provides only 23 leaves per year, and last year I was only able to take 3 leaves in the entire year.
The opportunities will only be provided to seniors because good opportunities have become scarce in this company. There are only average projects available, which does not do any justice to engineering knowledge.
Overall, if you are ready to get depressed and waste two precious years at the start of your career (as freshers have to sign a 2-year service bond), then only join this company.
Last but not the least, they do not have any good pay structure, and you will end up without getting any raise for years.
Please ensure the managers of the company know something about professionalism and work ethics.
Freshers should have some say when deciding about the technology they work with. The waiting period for internal transfer is too long and has to be reduced, or if they can also use the training period to analyze the skills of a candidate instead of keeping it completely random.
Stop treating freshers as slaves. This company hires well-educated, smart people to work with them. You can utilize the resources in a much better way if they feel good about working here.
