Salary above average.
Very friendly team and management. Most of the people I have currently met at Capgemini are experienced and team players.
Flexible working hours, home office. Also, I can achieve work-life balance – this is not just a buzzword at Capgemini.
Various range of not-boring projects (long-term or short-term) on which you can participate and learn a lot. This may sometimes be a disadvantage; see "Cons".
Employee development is very well supported and welcomed – paid online courses and some working time is dedicated to studying.
Sometimes you do not work in one 'full-time' project, but rather in two or more smaller projects. I have experienced bad handling of project collision when both projects had some high-priority tasks.
Even though projects are in similar business domains, they are very different as they are built for different customers. Due to this fact, you need to change technologies quite often (every customer wants something different) and thus it is hard to be an expert in some domain/technology. After a few years, you can have many technologies in your CV, but you know very few of them to a senior/expert level.
Three sick days per year would be a nice benefit.
Try to get some really long-term projects for your portfolio.
During my B.Tech, I had a basic interview where I was asked fundamental Java questions, including core concepts like OOPs. It was quite simple, but unfortunately, I lost the opportunity due to certain conditions.
It consists of three rounds. The first round is an easy aptitude test, the second round is the English round, and the third round is the HR round. It's easy to clear. CS students have a little more advantage in the aptitude test.
Campus Normal and easy. 1st round: Company shortlisted. 2nd round: MCQ and coding (gaming). 3rd round: Interview. Interview easy. Asked to print "hello world" in Python. Find odd and even numbers.
