Pros

If you are lucky, you'll get a good project. Else, the luck factor comes into play.

Cons
  1. Lack of good projects.
  2. If you are from top-tier colleges, you'll get good projects. Otherwise, they allocate you any project irrespective of what they asked in the interview.
Advice to Management

The project allocation should be at least based on what you asked for in the interview, rather than just random.
