Pros

Some interesting projects with a wide range of clients. Several very talented technical people within the organization. Opportunities to work abroad for projects. Competitive salary packages. Reasonable benefits and pension scheme.

Cons

No innovation.

Strategic direction from the top of the business is poor.

The company is not agile or dynamic.

Failure to embrace new opportunities until they are already established.

The company does not work globally across the group effectively.

Advice to Management

Better coordination between group levels is required and needs to be baked into the company. The different approaches cause inefficiency, leading to duplication and different strategies. The company needs to be much more willing to embrace technology as being at its core rather than simply body-shopping. It's not a company that thinks outside the box, and as the frontiers of technology change, this will really hamper the business.
