Pros

The salary is good if you are a subcontractor and do a good negotiation.

You get access to learning platforms.

The work/life balance is good if you impose your schedule.

Cons
  • Poor management.
  • You're sent to the client and have to solve all the problems, even the ones you haven't been hired for.
  • If you do only the job you've been hired for, you're seen as a bad professional.
  • Acts just like a middleman: you do all the job, and they get a portion of the money, with almost none or no support with the client.
  • They expect you to not complain about the problems. If you complain, you're a difficult person.
Advice to Management

You need to manage, not only send the employee to the client and that's it.
