Pros
  • Nice people (if you are lucky)
  • Yearly performance review and possible salary raise
  • Interesting projects (if you are lucky)
  • Budget for self-learning; you can really spend it on certifications or trainings, a great way to grow your knowledge
Cons
  • Not many nice people (if you are unlucky).
  • Boring projects (if you are unlucky).
  • One day there are plans to expand your project; the next day, it is closed without explanation.
  • You are a "casual" employee. One day you work in project A, the next day in project B. But if you want to switch teams, then it may take even 6 months.
  • Many levels of managers. If you want to do something, prepare for getting approval from a few different managers.
Advice to Management

You should focus on a single employee. Performance scores are sometimes set by people you don't even know. People from the team should be able to have an impact on who they work with. There are too many levels of managers.
