Pros: Work-life balance is phenomenal. Good compensation and general benefits package. PTO policy is incredibly generous (along with other days off/learning days). Great senior leadership.
Cons: High turnover.
Consistently, work could be more interesting.
Culture is team dependent.

Constant Immigration Problem and Reorgs

Open-source technologies.
Freedom to express your ideas.
Moving from traditional software development to framework-based development done in-house.
Great talent in the team.
Cons: Immigration is the biggest problem at Capital One.
They lay off employees every month, which delays the time to apply for the green card by six months each time.
This is impacting a lot of folks on H1B visas waiting for the application of PERM or a green card.
Please think twice before joining if your I-140 is not approved.
