The first interview was a recruiter call, lasting 20-30 minutes. I did not get many questions about my past experience. Most of the call focused on the role and the interview process. The recruiter was very nice and attentive.
Next, I completed a coding assessment on CodeSignal. I had been practicing LeetCode questions for a few weeks, so the questions were as expected. There are many posts about this on Reddit.
The assessment consisted of four questions and had a 70-minute time limit:
I fully solved questions 1, 2, and 3, and I got half the test cases correct on question 4. You can run test cases as many times as you'd like. You will only be able to see some of the test cases, but you can also create your own custom ones. You can skip around between questions, and the platform will always keep your highest score per question. My score was approximately 520 out of 600.
The recruiter contacted me the same day to schedule a call to discuss the next step, a "power day."
