I was thrown into the pipeline to interview, although they said they had no position open. The recruiter was great. She gave all the information and what to expect.
First was technical with CodeSignal. This is really about the speed of how fast you can solve algorithms. You have 4 questions in 70 minutes or something. Just score 70% and above.
I made it to the power day: algorithm, system design, behavioral, and case study. Overall, the interviewers were polite. Although one was late, and you could tell he clearly was not interested and did not like the fact he was interviewing me.
The recruiter was great, and I really enjoyed the process at first. I completely failed system design, and that was the only interviewer I felt was caring and resonated with the culture Capitol One keeps touting. The others were late, and you could tell they did not want to be there. I had to call the phone number to see if one was going to show.
After the whole process, there was no feedback or anything. I hear it just depends on the interviewers you get, and I got two rude, impatient ones.
Tell me about a time you had a disagreement with someone.
