This lead appeared dismissive of my answers, often giving me a disapproving look without truly trying to understand my points. I have 10 years of experience in this field and have even authored several books on the subject. The company seems to prioritize interview performance over hiring individuals who can actually do software development. This experience felt similar to other large tech companies (often referred to as "big-N") that seem to heavily adhere to a particular FAANG-like culture.
However, the HR department was exceptional. They treated candidates with the utmost respect, providing courtesy calls instead of relying solely on automated emails. They also connected with candidates on LinkedIn and prepared them through ambassadors.
I would give HR an A+, but the technical leads an F.
