A very flexible workplace that values work-life balance and cares for its employees and customers
Senior Software Engineer • Current Employee
Vienna, Virginia, United States
October 20, 2020
Pros: The company is very big on work-life balance and supporting their employees as much as possible. Your opinion is valued, and it is not intimidating to share your opinion with a VP+ executive. They are constantly requesting feedback on job satisfaction. The work itself is challenging and very rewarding.
Cons: The only reason I am even looking around for new jobs is that as of this moment the company is still expecting all employees to return to the office once it is safe to do so. I find that the benefits of working from home are too great to be able to return to the office.

Pros: The pay is good.
Good benefits.
Good work-life balance.
Good amount of paternity leave and vacation.
Cons: A lot of expectations as far as a workload.
They fired me for having two bad mid-year performance reviews, even though I closed both years out with great performance reviews.
I think they just wanted to get rid of people and needed a reason.

Pros: Great company perks and great culture.
You will be provided with many resources you can take advantage of to grow personally as well as in your career.
You will learn about best practices for security and how to scale properly.
Cons: If you are used to working in a fast-paced environment, things will move slower here, and sometimes the politics of teams can make some projects drag on for longer than they should.
