I had one online assessment on CodeSignal and four PowerDay interviews. I was interviewing for an Angular developer role.
CodeSignal consisted of four LeetCode-style tasks; I passed with two out of four completed.
One interview was technical and Angular-specific, with on-point questions.
Two involved web app design, where I was given requirements and needed to design the web application structure.
Three were case studies, testing creativity and mental ability. For example, discussing the benefits of a chatbot in the context of banking, or going through badly written code and suggesting refactorings.
Four were behavioral, straightforward STAR questions.
It was a bad experience because I wasted five hours to complete the process. Later, I was notified by the recruiter that I passed the interview, but the position was filled before I got to the end. I feel like the company's tech culture is great, but the recruiting process is a mess.
I was realigned with another team for two weeks without success. The company had several open positions that had vague and confusing requirements like Angular/React/Node.js/AWS, but I couldn't apply because I was realigned by the recruiter. I couldn't get timely answers from the recruiter regarding open positions, which resulted in several positions being filled. It's really unfortunate to be treated like that after passing their overly long interview process. I didn't see the kind of initiative from the recruiter that I expected.
